weekend again!!

Clutches

I've been contemplating making clutches for a while now especially since I had just the right amount of Anna Marie Horner designed fabric left over from last summers big purse project (I'll get some shots of them together) Now I've got just enough for a snazzy ipod case or jewlery pouch. The other purse I lucked out on finding the perfect fabric at Joanns and Kaleo loved it. It was her 21st birthday gift, perfect for bars and machine washable!

I'll probably make more of these later since they use very little fabric and time...

I did make it!

Now to update about two weeks later. My mom got me the most fabulous chiton-esq lei & I made my dress which came out fabulous.

Buddy of course was happy for sun and me to be home.But he was not happy when I packed up later that day for a summer at the marine lab.

senioritis...

is a bitch. let's be honest. i'm so close and yet so far away from friday morning. so in the mean time i'm quickly putting together a playlist to get me through this crap.

and for other kicks: you push, i'll go by baby dayliner. two words: vodka soda.

and other favorites like arcade fire (which got me through the summer of physics), broken social scene, beck (modern guilt), MGMT, menomena... and whatever else i think of.

weekend before finals...

..and i've almost finished sewing a lovely black linen dress. I will get to studying soon enough. First final falls on wednesday and the last on friday morning at 8am.

Almost graduating? strange... Here's what I've been up to the last couple of weeks.
