ami <3

Here are some pictures of my kitty. We found out she had leukemia which caused her to have kidney failure... She's better now, but we'll miss her regality and drooly moments. She was the queen cat of the household always perched up on the couch, a chair or in the windowsill. She also had the most lovely fluffy coat of fur. She also had a way with giving the best cat forehead hugs.

These are the most recent pictures my mom took of her in December. We were moving the furniture around and picked up the couch with her on it. She just gripped tight and went for the ride...

Last spring break (packing/moving/packing/moving) on one of her favorite spots: my bed.

Summer time was dirt time.

Fluffy!!

More in the backyard garden

She had really pretty markings in a lighter almond shade, but they were mostly covered up in the spring and summer from sleeping in the flower beds.

Thanksgiving... the holidays meant a lot of sleeping and a warm house. She had special spots that would trap heat from the vents and turn into a little sauna. She would come out from under the table or where ever with a super fluffed out static coat of fur looking thoroughly pleased.
My mom and I planted her in a pretty perennial garden last week. We are going to find a fluffly flowering something, probably a rhodie, for her. I'll post more pictures when I find them.

December snow

These were all taken in December on Eastwoods nature trail when we had a light Friday snow and oddly enough, some sun.

Meet Buddy. He enjoys: following me around, eye patches, snacks, various bags and boxes, my laundry basket and sleeping on his back...
