Here are bits and pieces from the dotted swiss top I recently made. Most of it turned out really good, but it took a long time because i used a knit pattern to get the shape and obviously knit does not translate as well to a woven. I used bias tape to finish the armholes and neckline which worked really well, but after wearing it once i realized i need to redo the arms since they are a bit tight after putting in the french seams.
Here's the overall shape
The pleats at the neckline
and my first attempt at pintucks :)
Part of the button collection
I made this bag last winter and love it! At first I thought I was going to use it as a purse, but it wound up being huge and perfect for taking to the gym or on a short weekend trip. The quilting was pretty fun and made it nice and sturdy. I think I used a McCalls pattern for the shape.

oooh I love the blouse so much - it looks great! Were the pintucks hard?
That bag is awesome too! I love the fabric.
pintucks are easy! they just require special & accurate ironing. I put them in a separate piece of fabric when I decided I wanted the top to be longer. I recommend not doing that since matching up the sides was more complicated. But I'll definitely try it again since it's a cute detail.
oooh that's good to hear! thanks for the tips, it looks so nice! accurate ironing ... not sure I am so good at that. ha.
